Dremel’s 3000-1/24 variable-speed tool kit combines the compact versatility of the 3000 rotary tool with a well-rounded set of accessories and an attachment that allows users to tackle a wide variety of applications—including cutting, sanding, sharpening, polishing, carving, and grinding—in myriad materials. Smaller and more ergonomic than its predecessor, the Dremel 300, the 3000 is equipped with a powerful and efficient 1.2-amp motor to deliver unprecedented control for precision and detailed work.

The Dremel 3000 features the EZ Twist nose cap with an integrated wrench that cuts down on toolbox clutter and allows users to tighten accessories without a separate wrench. It works with all Dremel accessories and attachments (except the PL400 planer attachment and the MS400 multi-saw attachment), which reduces the amount of time users have to fumble for the correct item to use for the task at hand. Its variable-speed capability (5,000 to 32,000 RPM) even further extends the 3000’s versatility and can be better controlled thanks to the combined on/off and sliding speed switch with improved lever design for easier adjustment.
Ergonomic for Ease of Use
The 3000 rotary tool features a symmetrical design (as requested by users) with a trumpet-shaped nose cap to better adapt to a pencil-grip tool hold (for applications such as engraving). Its four-position collet lock makes for simpler accessory changes, and the hanger bail is integrated into the tool design—and out of the user’s way. Combined with a more resourceful fan design and side vents to afford a cooler-running tool, the Dremel 3000’s low noise and vibration offers users a comfortable tool experience for lengthy periods of time.
